About JT Grow Light

We Don't Just Sell Lights. We Help You Grow Better.

Who We Are

page-600-449

JT Grow Light has spent over 10 years doing one thing: building commercial LED grow lights and integrated grow systems that actually perform in real cultivation environments.

Our clients are mostly licensed cannabis growers across the US, Canada, and Europe, as well as vertical farm operators, tissue culture labs, and wholesale distributors who need a reliable manufacturing partner behind their brands. We're not trying to serve everyone-we focus on commercial cultivation because that's where the real performance requirements lie.

Every product we make carries ETL, CE, RoHS, and FCC certifications. That's not a marketing checkbox - it's the baseline for getting your fixtures through customs, past an electrical inspection, and onto the floor of a licensed facility.

If you're a commercial grower or a distributor who's been burned by inconsistent suppliers, you're in the right place.

What Makes Us Different

Walk through any trade show and you'll see the same thing: row after row of LED grow lights that look almost identical. Same aluminum housing, similar wattage claims, comparable price points on paper.

The differences are inside.

We use thickened aluminum alloy housings with extended heat dissipation fins - not because it looks better, but because heat is what kills LED chips over time. When a fixture runs hot, output drops, spectrum shifts, and your canopy suffers before you even realize the light is degrading.

We also run our LED chips at 70% of rated power - each 0.5W chip operates at 0.35W in our fixtures. Most manufacturers push chips harder to hit output numbers. We deliberately don't, because a chip running below its thermal limit holds its spectrum and output far longer. That's why our fixtures maintain stable light output without the lumen depreciation you see from cheaper alternatives.

After 10 years of working with commercial cannabis facilities and vertical farming operations, we've learned that the growers who get the best results aren't necessarily the ones with the highest-wattage fixtures. They're the ones with the most consistent light - same spectrum, same output, same canopy coverage, harvest after harvest.

How We Work With Customers

We don't take an order and ship a box.

When a new client comes to us, the first conversation is always about their grow environment - indoor or greenhouse, single canopy or multi-tier, and most importantly, what they're growing. A cannabis flowering room needs something completely different from a vertical leafy green operation, and recommending the wrong fixture wastes everyone's time and money.

For cannabis, we're looking at high-intensity coverage, a spectrum that supports the full growth cycle from seedling through flower, and thermal performance that holds up in sealed rooms. For vertical farming, the priority shifts - tighter coverage per tier, more blue-dominant spectrum to drive leaf development, lower heat output between closely stacked shelves.

We always recommend starting with a sample. Cannabis cultivation takes 2–3 months to show real results, so we'd rather a client test properly than commit to a large order based on specs alone. If the sample doesn't perform, we work out why before moving to production.

Clients who've switched from HPS to our LED grow lights consistently report yield improvements of 15–20% - not just from energy savings, but from more stable and controllable light conditions throughout the growth cycle.

Manufacturing & Quality

We're specific about what goes inside our fixtures because we've seen what happens when suppliers cut corners on components.

Every batch goes through spectrum verification using an integrating sphere, PPFD distribution testing, aging tests, and electrical safety checks before it ships. The goal isn't to pass a certification test once - it's to make sure every fixture in every order performs the same way.

Our ETL, CE, RoHS, and FCC certifications are kept up to date. When compliance standards are updated, our products update accordingly.
