1. This customer mainly grows cannabis plants, and the height of the plants is around 1.1m. To ensure that the height of the planting area can be fully utilized, we plan a 4-story planting area.
2. We use the room's length as the standard and lay out 10 groups of 4*8ft movable growing racks in vertical rows. Each row is composed of 3 4*8ft vertical grow racks, as shown in the following sketches.
3. For vertical farming, we don't need to use a very powerful LED Grow Light, so we recommend using a 640w foldable LED Grow Light. Its size is 4* 4 ft.
Detailed explanation of this solution
1. Planting layers in 4 layers
Considering the height of the cannabis plants and the distance between the lights, each layer needs to reserve a height of about 1.6m so that the cannabis has enough growth space during the flowering and fruiting period. Considering the high number of layers, the support capacity must be more than 300kg. Our vertical grow racks have thickened crossbeams, crossbeams, and columns. Most importantly, our grow racks can be equipped with pedals so workers can stand at a higher place to care for the plants.
